Galileo Rewards Redemption
We are pleased to advise that all the redemption claims of Galileo Rewards coupons are in process. Your Account Manager will deliver the coupon to you before Chinese New Year. If you have any questions, please feel to contact him / her.
CZ e-ticket update - FOID
Please be reminded to update the correct FOID in the booking file upon issuance of e-ticket plated on China Southern Airlines (CZ). Below is the acceptable format(s) of FOID for CZ:

ID number or Home Return Card number: SI.P1/SSRFOIDCZHK1/NIA12345678
Passport number: SI.P1/SSRFOIDCZHK1/PP987654321

The same information can be found under GC*HKG/109. Failure to update the FOID may cause inconvenience to passengers upon check-in.
Interline e-ticket with CX and MU
CX/MU IET is activated in Galileo. However, CX has confirmed that MU is not yet ready and IET should be disallowed. Please do not issue any CX e-ticket with MU as part of the itinerary. System table is to be updated soon.
Viewtrip Redesign
Galileo Viewtrip is a web-based tool that enables travelers to view, print and email their itineraries, electronic tickets and electronic expense receipts. As part of Galileo and Worldspan integration efforts, we will be re-introducing the Viewtrip product as Travelport ViewTrip. Galileo ViewTrip will be updated with Travelport colors but will retain its current style and navigation. Galileo ViewTrip will benefit from 3 new content links. In addition, itineraries containing hotel segments will include links to hotel property images.

GDS distribution costs for illegitimate segments
Proper GDS usage is crucial to airlines in managing their cost and seat inventory. Cathay Pacific Airways (CX) and Dragonair (KA) request your support in reducing abuse to achieve distribution effectiveness. Effective  01 January 2008, CX and KA will impose a country wide charge back policy to tackle the high GDS costs and abuse. Click here for the announcement, which was also posted on www.cxagents.com.

We urge you and your other agency staff to adhere to some basic booking guidelines and continue to refer to these guidelines as part of your daily routine of making, amending and cancelling ALL of your bookings in any GDS. This will avoid unnecessary costs and hassles for all parties concerned.
Do I need to update the e-ticket record after date change?
Definitely YES. Please reconfirm with the airlines to ensure the e-ticket record is updated with the change. Some carriers already have instructions about how to re-link the e-ticket record:

Cathay Pacific Airways (CX):
1. Report the ticket number with SSR TKNM format.
E.g. SI.TKNM*1601234567890 (passenger select and/or segment select may be required)
2. Enter OSI to advise the ticket is an electronic ticket: SI.CX*ET
3. End transact as usual.

Dragonair (KA):
1. Enter the ticket number information in Vendor remark.
E.g.: V.AKA*KA ET REVAL KA900Y19JAN 043-1234567890
2. End transact as usual.

For other carriers, you may refer to the respective airline's information page via GC*HKG/40 or please contact the Reservations departments of individual airlines.
How do I display the fares for Star Alliance airpass?
You can display the fares with this entry: FDQMXQMY/UA. QMX and QMY are the dummy city pairs. Below is the response for your reference:
