Basic Galileo Training (1 Day)

Objective: The objective of the course is to provide users with basic information about booking creation with Galileo. The attendees are expected to possess basic travel related knowledge or experience in using other GDS.

Outline: Check availability, timetable, basic booking fields (PRINT), create booking file, add ticket number, passport number, GIS, split of booking file, cancel booking file.

 

 

Basic Galileo Training – Promotion (1 Day)

 

Objective: The objective of the course is to provide users with basic information about booking creation with Galileo and want to learn more Galileo entries. The attendees are expected to be familiar with the use of the Galileo system.

Outline: Add special service request, mileage membership, send remarks to vendor, resell fuction, issue itinerary, Queue handling and other Focalpoint toolbar introduction.

 

Basic Galileo Training (2 Days)

 

Objective: The objective of the course is to provide users with basic information about booking creation with Galileo. The attendees are expected to possess basic travel related knowledge or experience in using other GDS.

Outline: Check availability, timetable, basic booking fields (PRINT), create booking file, add ticket number, passport number, GIS, split of booking file, cancel booking file, add special service request, mileage membership, send remarks to vendor, resell fuction, issue itinerary, Queue handling and other Focalpoint toolbar introduction.

 

 

Fare Training (Half Day)

 

Objective: To enable the users to obtain fare related information through Galileo. The attendees are expected to possess skills in creation of basic booking files and basic fare concepts.

Outline: The course will include the entries and logics about Fare Display, Fare Quote Planner, and Fare Quote as well as Fare Quote Best Buy.

 

 

Ticketing Training (Half Day)

 

Objective: The objective of the course is to enable users to obtain fare related information through Galileo and the steps for ticket issuance. Apart from ticketing agents, we also welcome non-ticketing agents to attend the fares session. The attendees are expected to possess skills in creation of basic booking files and basic fare concepts.

Outline: The course will include the setup of the TINS table prior to ticket issuance, steps for ticket issuance, different methods to create filed fares, and the steps to restore a ticketed filed fare.

Objective: The objective of the course is to enable the users to obtain fare related information through Galileo and the steps for ticket issuance. Objective: The objective of the training is to provide the attendees with procedures for creating car reservations through Galileo. The attendees are expected to have basic booking creation skills.

Outline: The course will include the introduction of various links to the vendors, and the appropriate steps to create, modify and cancel car reservations.

 

 

Hotel and Car Training (1 Day)

 

Objective: The objective of the training is to provide the attendees with procedures for creating hotel and car reservations through Galileo. The attendees are expected to have basic booking creation skills.

Outline: The course will include the introduction of various links to the vendors, and the appropriate steps to create, modify and cancel hotel and car reservations.
