When it comes to GDS in Ireland, there is no doubt which comes top for Irish agents. They have just voted Galileo as the Best Global Distribution System for 2005. This is all the more remarkable because this is the seventh year in a row that Galileo Ireland has won this award ahead of all leading competitors.
The award is made by leading trade publication Irish Travel Trade News and it was presented to Galileo Ireland Country Manager, Liam Brennan at a gala ceremony held in the Burlington Hotel in Dublin. The guests at this high profile event included the Minister for Transport, the United States Ambassador, the Presidents of the Irish Travel Agents Association and the Irish Tour Operators Federation.
Liam Brennan, Country Manager, Galileo Ireland, comments: “Galileo Ireland operates in a highly competitive market and we are delighted to have held on to the Irish Travel Trade News award for the7th consecutive year.
“The award is a recognition of the efforts the entire team makes to ensure our customers receive the best service and support. We are looking forward to providing even higher levels of service to our customers in 2006 and securing the award for an eight year.”
