Galileo Desktop Internet Access (GDIA)

What is GDIA?

Galileo Desktop Internet Access, or GDIA, is a product that allows users to access the Apollo and Galileo hosts via a web browser.  Users will not be required to download any software to use GDIA.  Once users are set up on GDIA, they will receive a username and password which they will input to access the host.  Using GDIA is simple, the same Terminal Emulation commands agents use today with Focalpoint are used with GDIA.

Key Features include:

  • Browser Access to Apollo host with no software
  • Four TE windows with five work areas
  • An administration application for setting up users, menus, messages and stored commands
  • Stored Commands, similar to programmable keys, are accessible with one click
  • Recent Entries are stored and visible for the user to access with one click
  • Users can store frequently used web links in GDIA for one click access
  • Messages can be sent to users via a messaging function.
  • Print Recovery function
