Toronto - Today itravel2000, Canada’s largest online travel company, announced that it has switched its reservation system from Sabre, exclusively to Galileo International. This conversion allows itravel2000 to leverage Galileo’s solutions in order to increase revenue, productivity and efficiency by incorporating flexible, user-friendly tools for agents.

itravel2000 experienced a swift and seamless conversion of 200 plus terminals from Sabre to Galileo with a carefully executed plan over a period of 10 business days, which was managed by the Galileo Conversion Team. By deploying Galileo’s Apollo system, itravel2000 is also able to leverage the strong affiliate partnership opportunities of Galileo’s parent company, Cendant, with brands including THOR and RCI. In addition to the affiliate synergies, Galileo’s innovative technology and level of leisure and tour package content through LeisureLink were compelling reasons for the conversion.
