Hoofddorp, 27-03-2006,Galileo International, a division of Cendant Travel Distribution Services (TDS) and a provider of technology and distribution solutions for the travel industry, has today announced that Sales-Lentz, Luxembourg’s leading leisure and business travel provider, has signed an innovative agreement which will give them access to the most comprehensive portfolio of travel content. As well as the Galileo GDS, additional low cost carrier fares will be made available via Galileo’s Custom Fares solution, and in addition, Sales-Lentz will have integrated access to the vast additional hotel, car and destination services content available from Gullivers Travel Associates (gta), also part of the TDS portfolio.
The agreement includes further elements of the TDS portfolio of solutions, with Sales-Lentz also implementing the established KDS online corporate booking tool and subscribing to the Shepherd Marketing Data Systems intelligence tool, which provides valuable management information for business planning.
Sales-Lentz will also start using CETS (Central European Touristic Solutions), a graphic booking interface relevant for the Luxemburg tourism industry. In addition Sales-Lentz will switch to a new third-party mid-office solution.
